Inter Lagos Prepares for 2026/27 NPFL Season Under Giwa

Inter Lagos head coach Shakiru Giwa stated that the club is intensifying preparations for the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season. Giwa highlighted the necessity of optimum fitness to give the team an advantage in a league known for its intense travel demands.

He revealed that training sessions will be structured to improve endurance, speed, and recovery fitness. Giwa expressed the desire to build a team capable of competing for 90 minutes both at home and away.

The technical crew will closely monitor player progress to avoid injuries. Inter Lagos gained promotion to the NPFL for the first time in the club's history last season.
