Bendel Insurance FC Begins Training for New Season

Bendel Insurance Football Club began training for the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League season on Wednesday afternoon, led by technical manager Kennedi Boboy. The team returned to the field at Samuel Stadium after a break following the end of the 2025/26 season.

Boboy took charge of the team in October 2025, guiding them to a 5th place finish in the NPFL table. He emphasized the importance of discipline and teamwork, expressing a commitment to improving the club's welfare and performance.

Boboy welcomed back players and officials, stating that the goal is to strive for a top-three finish and compete for the title every season. He acknowledged the challenges ahead but expressed optimism about the new season, indicating that new players are expected to join the team.

The training session marks the beginning of preparations for the upcoming league season.
