NPFL: Liberia’s Goalkeeper Julu Joins Ikorodu City

Liberian goalkeeper Derrick Julu has signed a contract with Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Ikorodu City Lagos ahead of the new season. The club announced the arrival of the shot stopper on their Facebook page, expressing excitement to have the Liberian national team goalie on board.

Julu, who has previously played for Watanga FC, signed a two-year deal with Ikorodu City. In addition to Julu, the club also announced the signing of Uchechukwu Onyemaechi, Taiwo Alao, and Rasheed Owolabi from Ijebu United, Sporting Lagos, and Inter Lagos, respectively.

Ikorodu City is set to play their first game of the NPFL season against Kwara United in Ilorin on Sunday.
