Rangers Claim NPFL Top Spot with Win Over Abia Warriors
Rangers achieved a significant 3-1 victory over Abia Warriors, propelling them to the top of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) table with 16 points, one point ahead of second-placed Rivers United, who have 15 points after seven matches. This win marks a continuation of Rangers' impressive form as they aim to maintain their position at the summit.
In a separate match, Enyimba secured their second win of the season with a 2-0 victory against Plateau United at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba, lifting them out of the relegation zone. Enyimba will seek to build on this success in their upcoming match against Katsina United.
Conversely, Kunkhalifat's struggles continued with a 1-0 defeat to Niger Tornadoes, leaving them at the bottom of the standings with only one victory in their last seven games. The pressure mounts on Kunkhalifat to improve their performance and collect points.
