NPFL Rebukes 3SC Sporting Director Over False Social Media Posts

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) issued a letter of reprimand to Tobi Adepoju Samuel, the Sporting Director of 3SC, for spreading false information on social media about NPFL Chairman Otunba Gbenga Elegbeley. Adepoju claimed Elegbeley approved a poor stadium pitch leading to player injuries, which NPFL refuted as baseless.

Davidson Owumi, NPFL's Chief Operating Officer, criticized Adepoju for damaging the league's reputation and demanded a public apology and explanation for potential disciplinary action.
