Ilechukwu countered the notion that any team is a favorite for the title after observing River United FC's 2-0 defeat to Warri Wolves FC in Ozoro. With the results leaving Rangers narrowly ahead in a tightly contested campaign, Ilechukwu noted that the momentum has shifted repeatedly in recent weeks.

He highlighted the importance of consistency in the final stretch of the season as Rangers aim to secure their tenth league crown. The team is preparing for a challenging away fixture against Niger Tornadoes FC, which could further influence the title race.
