NPHCDA trains 126 recruited staff
The National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) has begun training 126 newly recruited staff at its Leadership Development Academy (LDA) as part of its commitment to building the capacity of its workforce. Dr. Muyi Aina, the Executive Director and CEO of NPHCDA, visited the training venue and encouraged the trainees to engage fully, assuring them that the Agency will equip them with the necessary skills and tools to enhance primary health care.
The Agency emphasized the importance of the new staff appreciating the President's commitment to addressing historical health challenges in Nigeria. The NPHCDA's Leadership Development Academy was established in 2019 to continually build leadership and management skills among staff for effective performance delivery.
So far, four cohorts of new employees have been trained, with 55 graduates and two ongoing cohorts.
