NPHCDA Distributes Maternal Health Commodities to 10 Nigerian States to Reduce Mortality

The National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA) has initiated the distribution of Maternal Neonatal Health (MNH) commodities worth billions to 10 states in Nigeria. The aim is to reduce maternal and neonatal deaths by providing essential health commodities.

The Executive Director of NPHCDA, Muyi Aina, highlighted the importance of this initiative in improving the health of mothers and newborns, aligning with the government's agenda to save lives and reduce mortality rates. The distribution covers priority areas across Nigeria, with collaboration from government partners to enhance maternal and neonatal health services and ensure sustainability through state commitment and support.
