NSC Endorses SWAN's 60th Anniversary Event in Abuja

The Nigeria Sport Commission (NSC) has approved the 60th Anniversary and Sport Icon Award event of the Sport Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), scheduled for October 29-31, 2025, in Abuja. Mallam Shehu Dikko, the NSC Chairman, commended SWAN for its visionary leadership in sports development.

The NSC recognizes the crucial role of sports journalists in promoting grassroots and elite sports. The partnership between NSC, SWAN, and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) aims to enhance sports journalism and development.
