Quadri Aruna Jr. Shines at WTT Youth Tournament in Luxembourg

Quadri Aruna Jr., the 10-year-old son of renowned Nigerian table tennis player Quadri Aruna, showcased his talent at the World Table Tennis Youth tournament held in Luxembourg. He achieved remarkable success by winning a silver medal in the Under-11 category and a bronze medal in the Under-13 category.

Bukola Olopade, the Director General of the Nigerian Sports Commission, praised Aruna Jr.'s outstanding performance, highlighting the potential of this young athlete as a significant asset for the future of Nigerian sports. Olopade also acknowledged the contributions of Qaniat Aruna, Quadri's wife and a former player, for her role in coaching their son and nurturing his talent.

He assured that the Nigerian Sports Commission would continue to provide support to help young athletes like Quadri Jr. reach their full potential, emphasizing the bright future of Nigerian sports across various disciplines.
