NSCDC Seeks Help to Identify Impaired Girl in Osogbo

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Osun State discovered a teenage girl, estimated to be between 15 and 16 years old, wandering the streets of Osogbo. The girl is hearing and speech-impaired, making it impossible for her to provide information about her identity or family.

Following her discovery, the NSCDC brought her to their office for safety. Kehind Adelek, the spokesperson for the NSCDC, stated that the command is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the girl and locating her family.

The girl was found along Odi Olowo in Osogbo, and the NSCDC leadership, under Igbalawol Sotiyo, is urging anyone with information to contact them. This incident comes in the wake of a previous report regarding the sealing of a home for disabled children in Osogbo due to concerns over their care and malnourishment.
