NSITF's Falaye Lauded for Leadership and Reforms

Barrister Oluwaseun Falaye, the Managing Director and Chief Executive of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), has been commended for his visionary leadership and key reforms that prioritize staff welfare. Joseph Ezejiegu, the Country Director of a civil society organization, praised Falaye's commitment to improving worker conditions and enhancing the institution's efficiency.

A recent initiative highlighted is the establishment of an employee compensation scheme and an EC help desk, which aims to expand access to compensation services for federal civil servants. Ezejiegu noted that this initiative marks a significant milestone in bringing services closer to workers and ensuring timely responses to workplace injury claims.

Falaye's leadership has also focused on transparency and stakeholder engagement, aiming to restore public confidence in the agency. The civil society group urged public sector leaders to emulate Falaye's example by placing worker welfare at the forefront of administrative agendas, expressing optimism about NSITF's continued transformation under his leadership.
