NSITF MD Mourns NLC General Secretary Emmanuel Ugboaja

Mr. Oluwaseun Faleye, the Managing Director/Chief Executive of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), expressed deep sorrow over the death of Comrade Emmanuel Ugboaja, the General Secretary of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC). In a condolence message issued in Abuja, Faleye characterized Ugboaja's passing as a significant loss to the labor movement, highlighting his steadfast commitment to the rights and dignity of labor.

He praised Ugboaja as a dedicated labor leader, a skilled lawyer, and an effective administrator whose advocacy for workers' welfare and social justice would be greatly missed. Faleye noted Ugboaja's role as a bridge-builder and a dependable partner in the pursuit of worker protection.

He extended condolences on behalf of the NSITF Board, Management, and Staff to NLC President Comrade Joe Ajaero, Ugboaja's family, and the entire labor movement, wishing for eternal rest for Ugboaja's soul and strength for his family to cope with the loss.
