Iran's President Defends Nuclear Rights Against Trump

Pezeshkian criticized the U.S. efforts to hinder Iran's nuclear capabilities, highlighting the ongoing conflict and suggesting that a resolution could be reached soon. Trump had previously indicated that Iran would need to accept difficult conditions for negotiations to resolve the situation.

He expressed optimism about the potential for a meeting with Iranian leaders over the weekend and noted that Iran had agreed to return to enriching uranium while refraining from pursuing nuclear weapons for a period exceeding 20 years. The discussions also referenced Iran's nuclear activities, which were contentious during talks in Pakistan the previous weekend.
