NWFL Approves Ekiti Queens' Home Return, Lifts Ban

The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has officially sanctioned the return of Ekiti Queens to their home ground in Ado Ekiti, following the successful completion of venue sanctions required for the club to relocate its home fixtures from Abeokuta. This decision comes after the club demonstrated compliance with the league's operational safety standards and security protocols.

As a result, Ekiti Queens are set to resume hosting home matches in Ado Ekiti, with their first match scheduled for Matchday 15 of the 2025/26 NWFL Premiership season. This match will take place on a date yet to be specified, marking a significant milestone for the club and its supporters.

Additionally, the NWFL has lifted the ban on Ibom Angels, allowing them to participate fully in the league.
