Nwoko's Adviser Rejects Delta APC Primary Results

Chris Okobah, the legal adviser to Senator Ned Nwoko, publicly rejected the results of the Delta APC senatorial primary election held on May 18. Okobah alleged that the election was marred by widespread irregularities and manipulation, asserting that Nwoko actually won with 123,000 votes compared to the declared winner, Ifeanyi Okowa, who received 113,309 votes.

Okobah claimed that the primary election process was compromised, citing evidence such as video recordings and reports from agents at the ward level across the 98 wards in the senatorial district. He accused the electoral panel of isolating candidates and failing to ensure a transparent voting process.

Okobah demanded a full review of the election process and the cancellation of the results due to the alleged manipulation. In response, Okowa's spokesman, Olisa Ifeajika, stated that the party had not yet released the official results and was awaiting the appeal committee's findings.
