Ned Nwoko Rejects APC Primary Results, Alleges Manipulation

Ned Nwoko, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), publicly rejected the results of the senatorial primary election for Delta North, which was won by former governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Nwoko alleged that the electoral process was manipulated in favor of Okowa. He claimed that the primary election was marred by conspiracy and that the results were not genuinely reflective of the votes cast.

Nwoko stated that he possessed video evidence showing discrepancies in the results announced at the ward level, specifically in Ika North East Local Government Area. He emphasized that the APC national leadership's acceptance of the results contradicted the genuine mandate of party members.

Nwoko also mentioned that incidents of violence during the election were isolated and did not significantly affect the overall outcome. He reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and expressed confidence that the president would intervene in the dispute regarding the election results.
