APC Official Critiques Ned Nwoko's Primary Defeat

Norbert Sochukwudinma, a senior special assistant to the APC national chairman on local government affairs, mocked Ned Nwoko's defeat in the Delta North senatorial primary. Sochukwudinma stated that Nwoko failed to build strong ties within the party structure and distanced himself from party activities, which he believed led to Nwoko's loss.

He emphasized that any candidate seeking electoral success must engage with the party's grassroots leaders and consult local government party chairmen. Sochukwudinma dismissed Nwoko's claims of electoral manipulation, asserting that the primary election was conducted fairly with accredited party members participating in the voting process.

He noted that the results circulating online were not official and that Nwoko's rejection of the outcome was unfounded. The APC official maintained that the party's processes were transparent and that Nwoko's defeat was clear, with the official results showing a significant margin.
