NYSC and Kudimata Launch Capital Markets Literacy Program

On June 16, 2023, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and Kudimata Nigeria Ltd officially launched the National Capital Markets Literacy Program across Nigeria. The program aims to enhance investor education and financial awareness among Nigerian youths, particularly NYSC members.

The launch was symbolically marked during a special closing gong ceremony at the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) in Lagos, attended by Brigadier General Olakunle Oluseyi Nafiu, the Director General of NYSC, and Dr. Umaru Kwairanga, the Chairman of NGX.

The initiative is designed to equip young Nigerians with the knowledge required for informed financial decisions and meaningful participation in the economy. Kathleen Erhimu, founder of Kudimata Nigeria Ltd, emphasized the program's long-term commitment to empowering youths with the necessary skills for capital market participation.

The initiative will be implemented across NYSC orientation camps nationwide, aiming to foster a culture of financial responsibility and wealth creation among young Nigerians.
