Oando Wins Equality and Diversity Award at IMT Summit

Oando PLC was awarded the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Award at the West Africa Industrial Manufacturing Trade Summit held in Abuja. This recognition highlights Oando's commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace, with women currently representing 43% of its workforce.

The award was presented during a gala dinner at the summit, which aimed to honor excellence in driving industrial growth. Kanyinsola MBA, General Manager of Human Capital Management Services, and Ayodel Peregrino, Employee Relations Manager, accepted the award.

Kanyinsola expressed appreciation on behalf of Oando's employees and emphasized the company's commitment to achieving a 50/50 gender balance. The summit also featured discussions on maximizing West Africa's human capital and the critical role of energy in driving industrialization.

Dr. Ainoji Irun, Managing Director of Oando Energy Resources, participated in a high-level panel discussing the future of industry and the need for strong leadership and investment in infrastructure to address power deficits in Africa.
