Obi is fully committed to coalition – ADC responds to Datti Baba-Ahmed

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has responded to comments made by Datti Baba-Ahmed, the Labour Party's 2023 candidate, regarding the opposition coalition. In an interview with Channels TV, Baba-Ahmed accused the coalition led by ADC of being misleading and announced his plan to contest the 2027 election alongside Peter Obi.

ADC's deputy national publicity secretary, Jackie Wayas, emphasized that the coalition is a collective project involving various political leaders and parties. Wayas highlighted the integrity and justice Senator Datti is known for and stressed that the coalition aims to push for a better Nigeria.

The coalition was formed in consultation with key figures such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Governor Nasir El-Rufai, former Senate President David Mark, Governor Rauf Aregbesola, former Transportation Minister Rotimi Amaechi, and Peter Obi. Wayas confirmed Obi's commitment to the coalition and stated that Obi had pledged to use ADC.
