ADC Faces Disquiet Over Peter Obi's Potential Move Ahead of 2027 Election

There is growing disquiet within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) over rumors of former presidential candidate Peter Obi considering a move to another platform ahead of the 2027 general election. Obi, a former Anambra State Governor, is reportedly contemplating leaving ADC for Action Alliance.

The National Coordinator of Obidient Movement, Dr. Yunusa Tanko, stated that ADC must consider the zoning of the presidential ticket to the Southern part of the country.

Tanko emphasized the importance of maintaining a good working relationship with Obi. Obi's camp has not confirmed the potential move, with a former campaign spokesman mentioning that Obi has the right to decide.
