Ganduje Critiques Obi and Kwankwaso's 2027 Prospects

Abdullahi Ganduje, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, expressed his views on the 2027 presidential election, asserting that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, and his running mate Rabiu Kwankwaso do not possess the governance records or political legacy required for victory. Speaking to journalists in Abuja on Tuesday, Ganduje dismissed the potential of an Obi-Kwankwaso ticket, stating it would fail to gain traction in Kano State, describing it as "dead on arrival." He questioned Obi's tenure as governor of Anambra State, asking what legacy he left and what other significant governance roles he held.

Ganduje also criticized Kwankwaso's political history, noting that unlike other former governors of Kano, he did not serve two consecutive terms. Ganduje concluded that neither candidate has left a legacy that would convince voters of their capability to serve effectively at the national level.
