Lagos Surgeon Appointed Southwest Coordinator of OK Movement

Dr. Adefolasey Adebayo, a well-known Nigerian ENT head and neck surgeon at General Hospital, Lagos Island, has been appointed as the Southwest zonal coordinator of the OK Movement.

This political pressure group aims to promote the presidential candidacy of Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, and his Kano counterpart, Rabiu Kwankwaso. The OK Movement is focused on supporting the presidential ticket of Obi and Kwankwaso as they vie for leadership in the upcoming elections.

Dr. Adebayo expressed her readiness to accept this responsibility, stating her commitment to lead the movement and encouraging the Nigerian Southwest region to unite in support of their cause.

She emphasized the importance of collective action at the state, local government, and ward levels to advance the vision of Obi and Kwankwaso, highlighting the critical moment for Nigeria's leadership.
