Obi and Kwankwaso Launch 'OK Movement' for ADC Primary

The 'OK Movement' was officially unveiled in Abuja, spearheaded by former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi and former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso. This political pressure group aims to consolidate support for their candidacies in the upcoming African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary.

The movement has already established structures across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, appointing state and zonal coordinators to mobilize support nationwide. Justin Ijeh, a spokesperson for the movement, emphasized its goal to address Nigeria's pressing economic challenges and promote unity beyond tribal and religious lines.

The initiative comes amid rising tensions within the ADC, particularly following Atiku Abubakar's declaration to contest the presidential primary, which has sparked debates about the party's leadership dynamics. The 'OK Movement' seeks to create a robust support base and will officially inaugurate state chapters soon, inviting all Nigerians to join in the pursuit of better leadership.
