The Obidient Movement, associated with former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, has firmly dismissed reports suggesting internal crises within its ranks. Spokesman Ibrahim Umar issued a statement in Abuja, characterizing such claims as deliberate attempts to misrepresent the movement, which is built around the ideals of citizen-driven politics.

Umar stated that while various support groups within the movement may adopt different strategies, this does not indicate division. He emphasized that the movement's decentralized nature is its greatest strength, preventing any single individual or group from compromising its collective aspirations.
