Obidi Movement Plans Nationwide #OccupyINEC Protest

The Obidi Movement, led by Yunusa Tanko, is mobilizing for a nationwide protest tagged #OccupyINEC, demanding significant electoral reforms and the resignation of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan.

Despite rising political tensions, Tanko affirmed the group's commitment to proceed with the demonstration, although he refrained from disclosing the exact date due to concerns over potential harassment and intimidation. The movement's actions come in response to INEC's recent decisions, which they believe compromise the integrity of Nigeria's democracy.
