Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State is partnering with Brazilian farmers to enhance food security and boost economic diversification through increased investment in agriculture. Delta State, like many regions in Nigeria, heavily relies on the crude oil economy, overlooking the potential of commercial crop farming and animal husbandry.

Oborevwori's administration aims to transform the state's agricultural sector by attracting foreign investment and developing partnerships with Brazil. The delegation from Delta State visited one of Brazil's largest ranches to explore collaboration opportunities in livestock management, dairy production, and pasture development.

This initiative aligns with the governor's vision to diversify the economy, increase food production, and create sustainable employment opportunities in the state.
