Oborevwori Urges Unity Among Politicians for Nigeria's Progress

During a requiem mass held at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Ibusa near Asaba, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori called on politicians to eschew bitterness to advance Nigeria.

He stressed the importance of mutual respect and collective responsibility among leaders to ensure national development. Oborevwori highlighted that political positions are temporary and urged leaders to govern with humility and engage respectfully.

He reminded attendees, including notable figures such as former governors Ifeanyi Okowa and James Ibori, that history will judge their actions, not their titles. The mass was held in honor of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, with Rev Fr Peter Mobuogwu preaching about hope and divine justice.

The event drew a significant gathering of political figures, emphasizing the need for unity and collaboration to uplift the nation and its citizens.
