Emami Affirms Oborevwori's Neutrality in APC Primaries

Ayirimi Emami, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, announced that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori will maintain neutrality in the forthcoming APC primaries for the Senate, House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly positions ahead of the 2027 general elections. Emami made this statement during a weekend interaction with journalists at his residence in Egbokodo, Warri.

He emphasized that the governor's commitment to neutrality is crucial for ensuring a fair electoral process for all aspirants. Emami also expressed support for various candidates, including Hon.

Michael Diden for the Delta South senatorial seat, Hon. Mofe Edema for Warri South constituency, and Dr.

Andrew Igban for Warri South West constituency. He acknowledged the importance of adhering to legal procedures in the electoral process and urged security agencies to address any existing threats to peace in the Warri Kingdom, reaffirming the Itsekiri people's commitment to peaceful coexistence with neighboring ethnic groups.
