Oborevwori Extends DESOPADEC Board Tenure, Contractors Praise

Delta State Governor Rt. Hon.

Sheriff Oborevwori announced a one-year extension for the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC). This decision has been met with enthusiasm from the DESOPADEC Indigenous Contractor Forum, which congratulated the board members for their contributions to community development.

The forum, represented by Chairman Engr. Ogi Samson and Secretary Princ.

Charl Ebigbagha, expressed that the extension is a deserved recognition of the board's efforts. They commended the Executive Director of Finance and Administration, Chief Kome Okpobo, for fostering positive relationships between the agency and indigenous contractors.

The forum noted that the board, led by Chief John Nani, has successfully managed the agency, bringing positive changes to the commission and improving stakeholder relationships. The forum pledged continued support for the governor and the DESOPADEC board, expressing optimism for further achievements in community development across oil-producing areas in Delta State.
