Ododo Engages Prince Audu on Kogi State Development

On Monday, Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo paid a courtesy visit to Prince Mohammed Audu, the son of the late former Governor Abubakar Audu. The meeting focused on discussions regarding the development of Kogi State, enhancing the state’s economy, and improving the welfare of its citizens.

Kingsley Fanwo, the Commissioner for Information and Communications, stated that they explored ways to boost agricultural production and improve the cashew value chain for greater economic benefits. Prince Audu expressed his willingness to collaborate with Ododo to attract development and praised the governor for being the first serving governor to visit his residence.

He acknowledged Ododo's efforts in organizing the 10th anniversary of his father's passing and naming a road after him. The discussions also aimed at fostering unity within the All Progressives Congress and mobilizing support for President Bola Tinubu's administration ahead of the 2027 general elections.
