Kogi Governor Ododo Prioritizes Rural Development Plans

Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is committed to inclusive development across the state, as stated by Timothy Ojoma, the Commissioner for Agriculture. During a media address on Tuesday, Ojoma discussed the ongoing 30-kilometer rural road project in the Dekina local government area, which is part of a larger 60-kilometer stretch.

He emphasized the significance of this road for local farmers, as it facilitates the transportation of agricultural produce to markets, preventing spoilage. Ojoma described the road as a new development in a largely rural area, asserting that Kogi State is making progress despite its vast size.

He also addressed security concerns, noting that the region, previously a flashpoint for conflicts, is now secure under Ododo's administration, which prioritizes the safety of its citizens and responds rapidly to any security issues.
