NNL Monthly Awards: Offor Praises Leadership and Impact

Paul Offor, the head coach of Akwa United, commended the leadership of the Nigeria Nation League (NNL) for implementing monthly awards designed to reward outstanding players and officials. Offor described this initiative as a major step forward in motivating stakeholders across the league.

He noted that the recognition reinforces the commitment to strive for greater achievements and elevates the competitive spirit within the league. The awards have introduced new levels of professionalism among players and officials.

The monthly award winners included Ajibola Joel from Stormer Club as the highest goal scorer for December, Toni Ayanga from Rover FC for January, and Innoc Idu from Citi FC for February as the best goalkeeper. Emmanuel Daniel from Rancher Bee won the December award, while Aloysius Thankgod from Akwa United and Pascal from Abakaliki FC were recognized in January and February, respectively.

Offor also highlighted Kada Warriors as the best-behaved team in December, with Rover FC and Lobi Stars receiving recognition in January and February.
