APC Chieftain Empowers 50 Women for Yayi's 2027 Bid

Titi Fagbote, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, empowered 50 women in Yewa North Local Government Area with cash grants aimed at enhancing their businesses and strengthening grassroots support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola’s 2027 governorship ambition. The empowerment program took place at Omidokun Hall in Ayetoro and marked the official inauguration of the Ayoka Women for Yayi support group.

Fagbote stated that the initiative was inspired by Senator Adeola’s leadership style and his existing developmental efforts in Yewa North. She emphasized that Adeola has already gained the trust of residents through his contributions, even before potentially becoming governor.

Fagbote urged members of the support group to engage in door-to-door mobilization to promote Adeola’s achievements as a Senator. Olori Adebisi Olaotan, representing Senator Adeola’s wife, dismissed claims about Adeola’s state of origin as politically motivated attacks.

Chief (Mrs) Yemisi Abbas expressed market women’s support for Adeola, while beneficiary Mrs Rafiu Fausat praised the cash support for business expansion.
