Ogun APC Candidate Yayi Promises Inclusive Governance

Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, who is the APC candidate for the Ogun State governorship, has pledged to provide inclusive governance. Speaking to journalists on Thursday after participating in the primary elections at Ilaro Ward 2, Adeola expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the primaries, which he described as a reflection of unity within the party.

He assured party members that he would govern inclusively, ensuring that no group is left behind. Adeola dismissed claims of dissatisfaction among aspirants regarding the emergence of the party's consensus candidate, stating that the decision was the result of extensive consultations among party stakeholders across the three senatorial districts of Ogun State.

He emphasized that no one was cheated or disenfranchised in the process. Adeola also pledged to build on the achievements of the current administration led by Governor Dapo Abiodun and to work collaboratively with all party members for the betterment of Ogun State.
