APM Criticizes Abiodun's Political Appointment Promises

Abayomi Sanyaolu, the Ogun State Chairman of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), expressed strong disapproval of Governor Dapo Abiodun's recent promise to compensate aspirants from the All Progressives Congress (APC) with political appointments. Sanyaolu stated that this move aims to weaken opposition parties and undermine internal democracy.

He urged aspirants to reject these offers, which he believes are designed to distract and derail genuine political aspirations ahead of the 2027 general elections. Sanyaolu emphasized that the APM is a credible platform for serious political aspirants and noted recent defections to the APM from other parties as evidence of its growing strength.

He condemned the APC's tactics, asserting that the party has exhausted its goodwill among the people of Ogun State. Sanyaolu called for a transparent process and equal opportunities for all political aspirants, reinforcing the APM's commitment to advancing credible political ambitions.
