Ogun CJ Dipeolu Unveils New Courtrooms in Ogun State

On a recent date, Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu, the Chief Judge of Ogun State, inaugurated two new courtrooms in the Ijebu North Local Government Area. This includes a reconstructed magistrate court complex in Ago Iwoy and a newly built customary court in Oru Ijebu.

The magistrate court complex was rebuilt due to its deteriorating condition, with the community taking the initiative to reconstruct it rather than waiting for state intervention. Dipeolu emphasized the importance of these facilities in promoting the rule of law and serving the community effectively.

She acknowledged the contributions of local traditional rulers, including Oba Sahe Ifalohun Odusanya and Oba Abdul Rasaq Adenugba, in mobilizing support for the project. The customary court is described as a vital point of contact for ordinary citizens dealing with legal matters, including family disputes and land issues.

Dipeolu urged court personnel to pursue justice with integrity and fairness, reflecting the judiciary's commitment to serving the community.
