Ogun Customs Seizes Contraband Items and Drugs, Generates N27.2m Revenue

The Nigeria Customs Service, Ogun Area Command, led by Comptroller Oladapo Afeni, disclosed the seizure of contraband items such as foreign parboiled rice, spaghetti, vegetable oil, and narcotics including crystal meth, heroin, and cannabis sativa. The interception operations were carried out in locations like Idiroko, Abeokuta, Imeko, and Ipokia, resulting in a revenue generation of N27.2 million.

The seized items also included illegal imports and vehicles, with a total of 6,750 liters of premium motor spirit (PMS) and 4,738 bags of foreign parboiled rice confiscated.
