Gbenga Daniel Denied Access to APC Stakeholders' Meeting

Former Ogun State Governor Gbenga Daniel has voiced his discontent regarding his exclusion from an APC stakeholders' meeting held in Ijebu Ode, Ogun East. This meeting was intended to strategize for the upcoming 2027 gubernatorial elections, where Daniel is seeking to represent Ogun East in the Senate for a second term.

Despite a unanimous endorsement of the party's gubernatorial candidate, Daniel was barred from attending the meeting at the Adeola Odutola Hall. He disclosed this situation through a viral video, where he addressed his supporters and criticized the decision.

The invitation to the stakeholders' meeting had been sent to various party leaders, including the deputy governor and former local government chairmen, but Daniel's absence raised concerns about the unity within the party as they prepare for the elections.
