Ogun PDP Youth Leader Oyejid Sunkanmi Joins APC

Oyejid Sunkanmi, the Youth Leader of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, has officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Sunkanmi, popularly known as Suco, submitted his resignation letter to the PDP chairman, Abayomi Tella, on Monday.

In his letter, he expressed gratitude for the opportunities he had during his 12-year journey with the PDP, acknowledging the leadership of various party members including Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, Hon.

Abayomi Tella, Chief Robert Adenaik, and others. He requested understanding regarding his decision, which he acknowledged might disappoint some party members.

Sunkanmi emphasized that his experiences in the PDP shaped his political journey and thanked those who supported him throughout his tenure. Upon being contacted, he confirmed his move to the APC, stating it was a decision made on the ground.
