Former Benue Governor Suswam Defects to APC, Picks Membership Card

Former Benue State Governor Suswam has officially left the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) by obtaining his APC membership card. Suswam resigned from the PDP due to ongoing internal conflicts within the party, expressing gratitude for the opportunities the PDP provided him over 27 years.

He urged support for Governor Hyacinth Alia and encouraged people to register with the APC. The defection of Suswam, a two-term governor and former senator, is seen as a significant political move in Benue State.

The formal ceremony for his defection was presided over by APC's Benue State Secretary, Mr. Jame Ornguga.
