Ogun TESCOM Ensures Fair Teacher Redistribution in Public Schools

The Ogun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) reassured teachers across the state that the ongoing redistribution of teachers in public secondary schools is not meant to punish but to correct imbalances. Chairman of TESCOM, Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu, stated that the exercise is part of the commission's statutory responsibility to promote effective teaching and learning.

Governor Dapo Abiodun's administration initiated the redistribution to ensure the required number of subject teachers are deployed to deliver quality education. The process is designed to address the lopsided distribution of teachers, especially in semi-urban and rural areas, to enhance the quality of education in public secondary schools.
