Ogun Youths Advocate for Inclusive Governance Ahead of 2027

During a strategic stakeholder meeting held in Imeko Afon Local Government Area, Ogun State, members of the Youth Aegi Citi Boi Movement called for inclusive governance and equitable distribution of democratic dividends. The meeting, coordinated by Jamiu Ogundel, emphasized the importance of youth participation in governance and community development.

Ogundel highlighted that inclusive governance positively impacts grassroots development, urging young people to engage in peaceful political participation and reject political thuggery. Ayodeji Idowu, Ogun West Coordinator, stressed the need for youth unity and their role as agents of change.

Nafiu Abibola, Secretary of the Imeko Afon Local Government, and Comrade Kehind Olurunju-Belo from the National Youth Council of Nigeria also encouraged youth to embrace responsible leadership. The meeting concluded with a commitment to mobilize support for the APC governorship candidate in Ogun State and the presidential candidate Bola Tinubu, as the youth prepare for the 2027 elections.
