Ogunbote Cautions Plateau United After 4-0 Victory
On October 11, Plateau United achieved a significant 4-0 victory over Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Premier Football League at the New Jos Stadium. Technical adviser Gbenga Ogunbote praised the team's performance, with Paul Samson and Ekundayo Ojo scoring in the first half, followed by goals from Samuel Ayanrinde and Nenrot Silas after the break.
Despite the impressive win, Ogunbote warned his players against complacency, stating that one victory does not define their season in a long league campaign. He described the league as a marathon and urged his team to maintain discipline and determination as they progress.
Ogunbote acknowledged the importance of the win for the supporters and expressed optimism about the club's prospects for the season, assuring fans that they would have more reasons to celebrate by the end of the campaign.
