Ohanaeze advocates two-term Igbo presidency, dismisses one-term

According to a statement by Deputy Factional Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, Ohanaeze emphasized its commitment to the constitutional provision of maximum tenure for the President and state governors. The organization highlighted the historical context of Igbo leadership in Nigeria and argued that limiting the presidency to a single term would be unjust.

Ohanaeze urged Nigerians to question the motives of those advocating for a one-term presidency and emphasized the importance of consistency and sincerity in political campaigns. The organization made it clear that it supports an Igbo presidency but will not compromise on democratic principles.
