Ohanaeze Ndigbo Partners with South East Commission for Growth

Ohanaeze Ndigbo and the South East Development Commission have partnered to foster economic growth in Igboland. During a meeting in Enugu, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, Chairman of the Council of Igbo Business Leaders, emphasized the need for unity among stakeholders in the South East to combat youth unemployment and other socio-economic challenges.

The council's mandate includes identifying and grooming young Igbo entrepreneurs to create mega business ventures and establishing a credible voice for the business community in Igboland. Ohuabunwa called for synergy among stakeholders to leverage investment opportunities that have been neglected due to historical political and social factors.

Mr. Mark Okoy, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the South East Development Commission, commended the partnership and stressed the importance of understanding investment plans and policies to accurately represent the region's issues and guide against misinformation.
