Oji River Councillor Launches Free JAMB Coaching Program

Hon. Chibuzo Umesi, the current councillor representing Akpugoez Ward in Oji River Local Government Area, Enugu State, has launched a free coaching program for JAMB candidates and other students.

The initiative, held at Emmanuel's Cathedral Anglican Communion, began on February 27, 2023, and aims to assist youth in gaining admission into Nigerian universities. The program is open to all learners, focusing on subjects relevant to the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Umesi emphasized the importance of mentorship and guidance for the youth, noting that the program has seen increasing enrollment, with 35 students participating in the second edition and 50 expected in the third edition. The initiative is supported by local leaders, including Chief Emeka Anyaen and Engr.
