OK Movement Upholds Campaign Council Against NDC Leaders

The Obi-Kwankwaso (OK) Movement has declared that its Presidential Campaign Council remains valid and operational, countering opposition from some leaders of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), including National Leader Senator Seriake Dickson and NDC Presidential candidate Peter Obi. Dickson criticized the OK Movement's campaign council as “nonsensical,” while Obi supported this stance, asserting that a support group should not overshadow the party's role.

John Ughulu, the OK Movement’s Director General, clarified that the movement operates independently and does not receive financial support from Obi or the NDC. He stated that the movement's structure and leadership do not require approval from the NDC, emphasizing that both the NDC and the OK Movement have the right to manage their own campaign structures.

Ughulu stressed that the movement's independence is crucial and cannot be compromised to meet the preferences of any individual or group.
