Okocha Defeats Portable in Celebrity Boxing Rematch

On July 31, 2026, Nollywood actor and comedian Charles Okocha claimed victory over street-pop star Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, in a celebrity boxing rematch titled "Chaos in the Ring," held at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event, powered by Fearless Energy Drink from Rite Foods Limited, attracted a large audience of celebrities and fans.

The rematch, dubbed "Unfinished Business," reignited a rivalry that began in December 2023. The bout took a dramatic turn when Portable was disqualified for walking out of the ring during the opening round after a wrestling-style takedown attempt on Okocha.

Despite Portable's return to contest the decision, officials upheld the rules, awarding the victory to Okocha. The event also featured other boxing matches, showcasing the rising popularity of combat sports in Nigeria.
